Look beyond the city name and the advertised price. Choose the education and support that will shape your life after arrival.
START WITH THE PURPOSE
A long-term language school is not simply a way to enter Japan. Japanese is the foundation for daily life, further study and future work, but language-school graduation alone does not qualify a student for every job. Before applying, connect your Japanese goal with the knowledge, specialism and lawful residence status your future may require.
At FLA, that conversation starts before enrolment. We ask what you want to learn, what comes next, how you will fund your study and what support you will need to live responsibly in Japan.
SEVEN POINTS TO COMPARE
How many lessons are taught, how classes are placed by level, and how Japanese connects with further study and real life.
Not only tuition: application, enrolment, materials, facilities, housing, insurance and living costs should be visible before you decide.
Who helps with housing, health, procedures and daily-life problems—and how students learn to handle these independently.
How attendance, part-time-work rules, renewals and changes in circumstances are explained and managed.
How the school helps students research universities, vocational schools, specialisms and possible careers without making false guarantees.
Whether the school offers meaningful contact with Japanese society rather than keeping all learning inside a classroom.
A school cannot decide a visa, guarantee admission elsewhere or promise employment. Clear limits are a sign of responsible guidance.
WHY FLA IN FUKUI?
FLA is a properly operated school (Class I) in Fukui City. Students study Japanese four periods a day, Monday to Friday. That foundation connects with projects involving local companies, schools, public bodies and residents. A team of teachers, admissions and residence-management staff, office staff and more than ten daily-life support staff work together around each student.
2027 ADMISSIONS
FLA lists April 2027 for a two-year course, July 2027 for a one-year-nine-month course and October 2027 for a one-year-six-month course. Eligibility, Japanese preparation, financial documents and deadlines must be checked for each applicant.
