Student Growth.

The clearest answer we can give you is how our students change.

Why growth

"Accepted by X University"
tells you almost nothing.

An acceptance letter is a result. What matters is how the student changed compared with the day they arrived: what confused them, what they took on, what didn't work, and what they learned from it.

So when we introduce a student, we do it through these seven angles — deliberately, so that we cannot quietly keep only the flattering parts.

How we introduce them

Seven angles.

Each one must include what didn't work, not only what did.

The shape of an introductionthe same for everyone
BEFORE
Before arriving — what were you hoping for, and what didn't you understand?
FIRST DOUBTS
In the first weeks, what was hardest?
WHAT YOU DID
What did you take on, and why that?
THE MOMENT
Which class or activity stayed with you?
WHAT FAILED
What did you learn from the part that didn't work?
WHAT CHANGED
What can you do now that you couldn't before?
NEXT
What are you aiming at next?
Students' own words, up on the wall
Presenting what you researched
Second-years welcoming the new intake
The whole school out at a community event
On ceremony day
A day out in the city

Record

What our own records can show today.

Only verified figures, and only where no individual can be identified.

  • 165 students in the 2024 intake cohort
  • 162 graduated (3 more completed their course)
  • 163 moved on to further study (vocational colleges, universities and similar)
  • 2 returned home
  • 8 countries of origin (Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, China, Brazil)

Based on our internal pathway records as of March 2026. "Further study" refers to progression status. No personal information is published. FLA does not guarantee admission, employment, residence status or income.

Our rule

No story goes up without consent.

We publish an individual record only where that student has agreed to it. Whether their name, their country or their photograph appears is their choice. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and anything withdrawn is removed.

We don't invent stories to make a page look better. Until we have records we can publish properly, showing you the rule itself is the more honest thing to do.

If you want to know what current students and graduates are actually doing, ask and we'll tell you directly. Enquiries from families, financial supporters and partner organisations are equally welcome.

Ask us what students here are really doing.

We'll tell you concretely about study here and where graduates go next.
